13. Lewes Boccia
The sport of Boccia (pronounced Bot-cha) is a fun, exciting and easy to play paralympic sport which was adapted originally for people with cerebral palsy, but is now open to other disabilities. Players can throw, kick or roll balls down a ramp to play. It is similar to lawn bowls, with a white 'jack' played first then the teams or individuals balls being played. The player or team with their balls closest to the 'jack' at the end win. ALL players are seated, which makes this a fantastic inclusive sport!
