West Sussex Parents Forum is an independent, parent led organisation run by parent volunteers. Our role is to represent the views of our members in West Sussex. To do this we work in partnership with West Sussex County Council, NHS in West Sussex, Probation Service, Police, Learning and Skills Council, District and Borough Councils, Connexions and other Voluntary Sector organisations, aiming to positively improve services in West Sussex for disabled children, young people and their families.

West Sussex Parents Forum, is pleased to be able to publish our response to the SEN & Disability Green Paper, that was sent to the Department of Education on Monday 27th June 2011. Our response is based on the feedback from the 294 parent carers who attend one of the 11 meetings that we held in May 2011.
